In Room1 for writing we were writing recounts.
In our success criteria we needed to use.

• use some long and short sentences
• use adjectives and adverbs
• use juicy verbs to start a sentence
• use a smile or metaphor
• keep to one main idea in each paragraph
• edit for spelling and punctuation

I found it hard to ceep my story to one main point.

Calaway

On Friday morning after the trip to Canada I was so excited it was the day. The day we were going to Callaway Park. When we got there I sprinted all the way to the haunted castle. I went into the castle and there was an elevator and I press the button. Then a light went on. There was a skeleton and this screaming noise. I was really frightened. Next my sister and I went to the bumper cars. We went in two separate bumper cars.It was extremely fun, there was an older boy who smashed into me on the bumper cars and I waked my forehead on the steering wheel and I got a massive bruise. After we went on a couple more rides. my family and I got an ice cream. Mine was bubble gum flavour I was it was so delicious.
