Triangle gummy challenge

Today we made had to make gummy triangles. We made them with toothpicks and gummy lollies. We needed to make them strong enuf to hold at least 1 bible. My partner and I made our triangle strong enuf to hold 3 bibles. We had to make a few changes but ours turned out great. We were really happy with our structure and we had a great time. 

Disco

In my class we got to choose weather we make a wevideo about kapa haka or our disco we had at school I chose the disco.

The haka

This week we performed at the  kapa haka festival. And today we had to write a descriptive paragraph about the festival.

The Haka

It was time for the haka. the girls turned and walked to the back and the boys moved forward. I could hear the team stamping their feet. We were ready. The leader yelled kearetie kearitie keamo the rest went hei. The crowd clapped as loud as a heap of bulls running across the land. I slapped my legs till they were berning red. We finished and everyone was cheering as we walked off the stage.

Differnce

In my class we were learning how to use art coloring book.

I enjoyed coloring in my piece of art.

In my class we had to write about a time we saw fireworks.

I enjoyed writing my story.

I found it hard to think of a metaphor in my story.

  Fireworks!

The races finished and it was time for the fireworks. I was jumping up and down like there were ants in my pants. I was so excited. A person in a bright orange vest was getting the fireworks ready before it was time to launch the fireworks.

It was time the man in the vest stepped back. We started the countdown 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 Bang!, Pop!, Pow! the fireworks launched into the air. They were bombs exploding in the dark sky. Wahoo! I yelled some of the fireworks looked like bullets getting sprayed by a mini gun.

“That was the best,” I said as the fireworks ended. Everyone was cheering. The lights turned on and everyone grabbed their bags and headed for the car park. I opened the car door and said I wish we could see that all again.

What is matter book

 In my class we had to make a book about what is matter on book creature.

i enjoyed making the book.

I found it hard to do five pages of facts.

Next time I would try to do five pages of facts.

Camp letter

In my class we were writing letters to the parent that looked after us at camp.

i enjoyed writing my letter.

I found it hard to put lots of sentences in my paragraphs.

Next time I would put more sentences in my paragraphs.

Dear Renee

Thank you for all of your hard work looking after us. We had a blast. We did so many fun activities.

One of my highlights was the survivor game. I really liked being a possum and getting the food and water and taking a life of you.

So thank you for coming to support us. We had the best time EVER!
